Description

Strauss Innovation, a retailer of clothing and domestic ware, has announced plans to cut 235 out of 1,400 full-time jobs in Germany. The measure, which is meant to save costs and to implement lean management structures, will affect outlet centres, logistics and the company headquarter at Langenfeld, North-Rhine-Westfalia. Family-owned Strauss Innovation was sold to Swedish investor EQT in 2008.
