Description

Nissan, the third largest Japanese car manufacturer, has announced that it is to cut 20,000 jobs out of a total 235,000 worldwide due to a financial loss amounting to JPY 180 billion last year. It was reported that 12,000 job cuts will occur Japan. As of February 2009, there is no information on when dismissals are to be implemented by.
