European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Schiesser, a manufacturer of underwear and German affiliate of Swiss Schiesser Group has filed for insolvency and will cut 100 jobs. The company has filed for insolvency as the major shareholder has refused further investments. According to the works council, the company will cut 100 out of 600 jobs at its Bavarian site. No time line is given.
