Description

Computer manufacturer IBM has announced the closure of part of its server operation in Dublin, which will result in 120 voluntary redundancies by the end of April 2009. IBM has made a decision to relocate its high-end server manufacturing operation to Singapore, in order to be closer to expanding Asian markets. High-end servers are mainframe computers designed for multinationals and big companies such as banks, insurance firms.
