European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
UPS has presented a Dossier of Employment Regulation (ERE) with the intention of cutting 216 workers from the 1100 work force that exists in Spain. The firm claims that it is due to organizational reasons and denies any relation to the crisis. The trade unions have declared their opposition to the adjustment.
