Description
Swedish-owned telecommunications company, Ericsson Ireland, has announced 300 redundancies at its Dublin-based plant over the next 18 months. The company has said the redundancies will all be of a compulsory nature because various activities relating to product development and product line maintenance are to be relocated overseas to China, Poland and Sweden. The company has said that workers will receive a substantial redundancy settlement.
