European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lecom, a Czech machinery company, has announced the closure of its plant in Ledeč nad Sázavou with the loss of all 110 jobs by the end of January 2009. The firm has taken a leading position in the Czech Republic among the suppliers of technological units in the field of galvanic surface pre-treatment, electrophoretic application of paints, disposal of effluents etc.
