Description
Weinig, a leading manufacturer of the wood processing industry, plans to cut 275 jobs out of 1,100 at the moulder manufacturing plant in Tauberbischofsheim and to extend short-time work. Tauberbischofsheim saw a 25% drop in sales in 2008. Further Weinig sites and affiliates are not affected by the job cuts. There is no information on when the job cuts will occur.
