The first came in September 2008 in Struer, Jutland, where 70 were dismissed. The second already followed end of November when the factory in Struer was closed and further 110 were made redundant. The management foresee more problems in 2009. Therefore it has with the acceptance of the employees introduced work-sharing for a period of max 13 weeks. It means that the employees work one week and receive unemployment benefit the next. During the term of notice the efforts of the management, the trade union and the local job centre have succeeded in finding jobs for 40 employees. There are 467 employees left in Sdr. Felding.
