Description
Plymouth City Council is to cut 200 jobs by the end of 2009. The cuts were blamed on the current economic turmoil and more specifically, on the Icelandic collapse. £13m of the council money were deposited in banks involved in Icelandic investments and therefore it is unlikely that the whole sum could be reclaimed.
