European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Elcoteq, a Finnish electronics manufacturing services company, is to close its plant in Arad with the consequent loss of 400 jobs. The closure is part of a large restructuring plan resulting in the closure of production units across Russia, China and the USA, encompassing 4,500 job losses in total.
