European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Schmitz Cargobull Baltic, the company producing trailers and semi-trailers, dismissed 50 employees in Panevezys on 22 December, 2008. At present the company employs 300 people. Schmitz Cargobull Baltic operates as a branch company of the Schmitz group, which is based in Germany. The main cause of the dismissals was decreased company's sales.
