European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The spanish Newspapers publishing GRUPO ZETA has announced that it is to dismiss 531 workers out of a total workforce of 2,300 staff. The job losses will be implemented by April 2009. The management said that the restructuring is an " indispensable step " to ensure the company's viability over the next three years.
