European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The pharmaceutical company Uriach has announced to the unions that it will launch a job reduction plan (Expediente de Regulacion de Empleo in Spanish, ERE) over the next week which will affect 100 workers. The decision to cut the 100 jobs is attributed to both the financial losses from 2004 and the global economic crisis.
