Description
Home Delivery Network, a company providing courier services, is to cut 686 jobs. The company has announced its plans to shut down eight of its depots across the UK. The affected sites are Basildon, Daventry, Newcastle, Eastleigh, Burslem, Sheffield, Worcester and Edmonton. Trade unions Unite and Usdaw are working with the company to minimise compulsory redundancies. As of 23 january there is no infromation on when the cuts will occur.
