Superquinn, an Irish supermarket chain, is to cut 400 jobs. 67 of the job losses will occur in Dundalk due to the closure of one of its outlets. The job cuts are blamed on recent developments in cross-border trade. As of 22 January there is no information on when the job cuts will be implemented by.
