Description
Tyco Electronics, a company providing electronic components, netwok solutions as well as telecoms and wireless systems, is to cut 260 jobs in Swindon. The company will move operations to the Chech Republic and the cuts will occur by the end of 2009. 180 jobs will be lost at its Cheney Manor site and 80 jobs at its Dorcan site. The first 30 job losses will most likely occur in April 2009.
