Description

The aircrafts maintenance company, Sabena technics, is about to cut 371 jobs in its Brussels' branch. The company ended the year 2008 with a loss of 13 million Euros. Management intends to introduce a restructuring plan aimed at reducing the production costs and improving productivity. Besides the job reduction, a new organisational structure will be implemented in the company to keep the company running. The critical financial situation of the company has worsened with the slowdown of the air transport sector.
