Description

Volvo, the Swedish car manufacturer, announced that 250 jobs will be lost at the plant of Gent. However, according to the management no redundancy is planned and the suppresion of jobs would be taking place through a measure of non replacement of staff about to retire. This internal restructuring is part of a global restructuring plan caused by an important decrease in demand.
