Description
The notices issued from Plannja are part of SSAB's announcement (see factsheet 12488) on 9th December 2008 for a cost reduction including a redundancy of 1,100 employees. Plannja is a subsidiary of SSAB, producing sheet steel building products. 120 out of a total of 180 employees in Luleå are affected as well as 30 employees in Ålborg, Denmark. Plannja intends to streamline its production and relocate part of it to Småland, Sweden.
