Description

Lambrakis Press, a leading organization in the mass media in Greece, underwent a downsizing of 569 employees throughout the last 9 months due to internal restructuring plans.

Lambrakis Press:

  • publishes, along with its subsidiaries, a total of 4 newspapers (including the two top Greek newspapers "TA NEA" and "To VIMA") and 24 magazines
  • co-owns and operates one of the largest industrial printing facilities in South-Eastern Europe, that covers all stages of printing
  • runs two travel agencies and
  • is the largest single shareholder in the top press distribution agency in Greece
  • is active in the book publishing and maintains its presence in bookstore outlets
  • participates in "MEGA Channel" television station as well as in two of the largest TV production studios in Greece
  • develops and runs "www.in.gr" and "www.shop.21.gr", one of the first e-shops in Greece.
