Description
Newcastle Production, a food manufacturing company, has closed its factory at Longbenton on Tyneside with the loss of all 359 jobs. The factory was seriously damaged by fire in early January 2009, and a week later announced that it had been placed into administration as a result of cash flow problems. The factory will not re-open.
