Gibsons Food, a food manufacturer, is to close its factory at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire with the loss of all 245 jobs. The company’s parent company, Hot Bread Kitchens, went into administration in early January 2009. As of 18 January 2009 the company has not announced a final date for closure.
