Home Retail Group, a retail company who operate both the Argos and Homebase chains, has announced that it will cut 250 jobs from its distribution network. The company is attempting to cut costs as it has seen sales fall. The company employs around 53,000 people across the UK, although as of 18 January 2009 it has not announced at which sites or when these job cuts will occur.
