The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Zavvi, an entertainment retailer, has announced 353 redundancies across the UK. The firm went into administration in late December 2009, and the decision has been taken to close a further 18 stores with immediate effect. The firm employed 2,500 people across 125 stores.
