Description
Jaguar Land Rover, a car manufacturer, has announced that it is to cut 450 jobs. The firm has attributed these further job cuts to a fall in demand for new cars. As of 18 January 2009, the company has not announced when or at which sites these job losses will occur. In 2008, Jaguar Land Rover announced 600 job losses to be implemented by means of voluntary redundancies (see related fact sheet 11915).
