European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Poundland, a retailer, is to create 1,000 jobs across the UK during the next year as it opens 30 more stores. The company, which specialises in low-cost products, has seen sales increase as a result of current economic conditions. The form currently employs 4,540 people across its 201 stores.
