European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Punch Taverns, a company who run public houses in the UK, has announced that it is to cut 100 jobs at their head office in Burton upon Trent. The company is attempting to reduce costs as their profits have fallen 700 people are currently employed at the company’s head office although, as of 18 January 2009, it has not been announced when these jobs will be cut.
