Description

Stokes Forgings, a manufacturer of car components, is to close its factory in Walsall with the loss of all 137 jobs. The firm attributed the closure to the reduction in demand in the car manufacturing industry, although it will keep its plants at Dudley and Brierly Hill open. The plant will be shut in April 2009.
