European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Peacocks, a retailer, has announced that it is to expand its number of stores with the creation of 750 new jobs. The company currently employs around 5,000 people at its 526 stores, but plans to open a further 50 stores over the next two years. The retailer has seen demand for its low-price clothes increase as a result of current financial conditions.
