European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Celebrations Group, a retailer specialising in the sale of greetings cards and which ran the Cardfair and Card Warehouse chains, has been closed with the immediate loss of 1,400 jobs. The administrators attributed the closure to reduced customer spending during the current economic downturn.
