Description
Adams, a retailer, has cut 850 jobs with immediate effect as it has closed 111 of its 271 stores. The childrenswear specialist, which went into administration at the turn of the year, has been affected by reduced consumer spending. The company, which employed 2,350 people at its stores, is attempting to find a buyer for the remaining stores.
