Description
The Agora media group, publisher of the Gazeta Wyborcza daily, announced collective redundancies on 29 December 2008. The redundancies will be implemented between 1 January and 31 July 2009, and they will extend to 300 employees out of a workforce of 3,000. Previous redundancies at Agora were effected in 2004 and 2006, when the company shed, respectively, 500 and 250 jobs.
According to the information of 15.05.2009 the redundancies will be enlarged to 400 people and will last by the end of October 2009.
