Description
GE Healthcare, a pharmaceutical company, is to cut 155 jobs at its Whitchurch site in Cardiff. The company will stop making radiochemicals at the Cardiff plant which employs 420 staff. The job losses will be implemented over the next 18 months (from January 2009 to June 2010), while the company hopes to redeploy up to 150 employees in new biotechogy research posts.
