European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The sewing machine manufacturer VSM Group has to decresase its production and give notice to approximatively 50% of their workforce due to declining sales on the American market, which is their main one. VSM Group covers three brands: Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff and Singer. The production site and the head office is located in Husqvarna.
