European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Eshor, the construction company, based in Fene (A Coruña), is planning to dismiss half of its payroll by means of a Layoff Plan to get rid of 150 posts of the 342 workers the company employs before February 2009. The management of the construction company, which achieved profits of around five million euros in 2007, informed the company committee of its plans in a meeting held two days ago.
