European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Convergys, a US-based firm providing business and management consulting services, is to create 300 call centre jobs at its site in Newcastle. The company has a contract with a telecoms firm and plans to create the new positions by the end of 2008. The jobs will include customer services, technical support and sales staff.
