The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Entertainment UK, a wholesale distributor of music CDs and film DVDs across the UK, is to cut 700 jobs at its Middlesex sites. The cuts will affect employees atĀ the company's head office and distribution centres. The redundancies came after theĀ administrators failed to find a buyer for the company. Entertainment UK as well as other subsidiaries of the Woolworths Group went into administration in November 2008. As of 12 December 2008 there is no information on when the job losses will be implemented by.
