European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Loana, a traditional Czech textile company based in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, has declared insolvency and all 240 employees are expected to be dismissed. The company is owned by the Austrian company Ergee Holding since 2004. As of December 2008, there is no information as to when the job losses will occur.
