European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Linamar, a manufacturer of car components, has called for 208 voluntary redundancies at its Swansea factory.The company, which employs 358 people at the site, has been affected by the drop in demand for cars.As of 7 December 2008 no timeline has been given as to when these redundancies will occur.
