European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
EWS, a rail freight company, is to cut 530 jobs across the UK.The company, which is based in Doncaster, employs around 5,000 people across the UK, but has seen demand drop dramatically.As of 7 December 2008, no announcement has been made as to when these jobs will be cut.
