Aston Martin, a car manufacturer, has announced that it is to cut 600 jobs.300 of these jobs are permanent positions and 300 are temporary. The firm, based at Gaydon in Warwickshire, currently employs 1850 people.The firm attributed the cuts to falling car salesĀ in the current economic climate.As of 7 December 2008 it has not been announced when these job cuts will occur.
