European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Bowie Castlebank Group, a company that owns photo processing and cleaning shops, has gone into administration with the immediate loss of 817 jobs. The company, which owns the Max Spielman and Klick Photopoint brands as well as Munro cleaners, employs 1664 people in its 314 stores across the UK.The company attributed its position to the increase in use of digital photography, coupled with a contraction on the cleaning market.
