Fitzgerald Lighting , a manufacturer of light fittings, has gone into administration with the initial loss of 260 jobs in Bodmin, Cornwall. KPMG, the administrator, later announced that a further 20 people would be made redundant at distribution depots outside of Cornwall, and a further 52 had been made redundant in Bodmin.The company employs 370 people, and the remaining workforce will be kept on in the hope that a buyer can be found.The company attributed its move into administration to the current economic climate.
