European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ArcelorMittal Poland, a steel producer, has reviewed its restructuring plan which now envisages 1,480 job losses instead of the 980 originally planned. The job losses will be implemented by the end of 2009 and will affect all ArcelorMittal’s Polish plants located in Świetochłowice, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Sosnowiec, and Katowice.
