European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Due to restructuring, Slovak garment manufacturer Zekon will close its production plant in Humené, where all 318 employees will be redundant by the end of 2008. About 80 of them might find a temporary job in Zekon’s main plant in Michalovce.
