The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Meridiana-Eurofly airline company is to cut 145 jobs, affecting 84 pilots and 61 cabin assistants. According to the company, the job cuts are due to the recent economic crisis. As of November 2008, there is no information on when the job cuts will be implemented by. Meridiana-Eurofly has around 700 employees and a fleet of 22 aircrafts, 13 are leased and 9 company-owned.
