European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Eureka Hellas, a producer of household cleaning products which is part of the Eureka Group, acquired Insterstar Chim in Romania and Ukraine. With the acquisition, the total workforce employed (621 workers) in Eureka Hellas will increase to about 1,000.
On 20 November 2008, Eureka Hellas announced the acquisition of Interstar Chim specialised in home and personal care products with its headquarters in Romania and a unit operating in Ukraine.
The EUREKA Group is one of the leading names in the production, licensing and distribution and exporting of household cleaning products.
