European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Cumerio, a copper manufacturer and subsidiary of the German company Norddeutsche Affinerie, is to close one of its site employing 64 people.
Cumerio, located in Olen in the province of Antwerp, will close one of the five divisions of the site that employs in total around 500 people. This division produces copper products for roof and water pipes, products that lost their competitive value with regard to plastic and aluminum.
