Description

Remy International is planning to transfer production from its plant in Åšwidnica (in the Lower Silesia region) to other facilities, including one in Hungary, in response to high production costs, eliminating more than 200 jobs. The transfer will be effected in phases, beginning in January 2009 and running through late April 2009. Remy International produces and distributes ignition systems, power generation systems, hybrid, engines, and electronic components used in the automotive and railway industries.
